The Assembly of the Association
The Assembly is the supreme body of the Association.
It consists of all Association members with legal capacity and representatives of legal person members of the Association appointed by a person authorised for the legal person representation, unless otherwise provided for in an internal act of the legal person.
The Assembly is convened by the President of the Association.
The Regular Assembly is held once a year.
The Electoral Assembly is held every four years to elect the bodies of the Association.
The Electoral Assembly meeting:
- reviews the report on work in the past period;
- adopts the Association’s work plan for the next period;
- elects the President, Vice-presidents, Chief Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of the professional journal, Section Heads, Presidency, Supervisory Board and Court of Honour.
The last Electoral Assembly of HUNIG was held on October 26, 2018 when the Association bodies were chosen.
The Electoral Assembly meeting:
- reviews the report on work in the past period;
- adopts the Association’s work plan for the next period;
- elects the President, Vice-presidents, Chief Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of the professional journal, Section Heads, Presidency, Supervisory Board and Court of Honour.
The Association Assembly:
- defines Association policy;
- adopts Articles of Association and Code of Ethics and their updates;
- passes other general acts;
- adopts work and financial plan for the next calendar year;
- adopts work report and financial report for the previous calendar year;
- elects and dismisses persons authorised to represent the Association;
- decides on the membership fee amount;
- decides on a new section founding;
- decides on all matters relevant to the Association;
- makes final decisions on appeals filed by members regarding admittance and exclusions;
- decides on membership in related organisations in Croatia and worldwide;
- decides on the termination of the Association;
- decides on other matters for which the Articles of Association do not stipulate responsibility of other Association bodies.
